Octane LG and Pantech VN530 Crux, Available from Verizon
Verizon Wireless gives a fresh look at their catalog and presents two new phones: the LG and Pantech Octane VN530 Crux (available since yesterday in all Verizon stores).
The LG Octane is a curious mixture of the Cosmos and LG Touch LG enV. It has a small display and keypad on the outside, and a larger screen, plus a full QWERTY keyboard inside.
The phone also comes with integration of social networks (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter), Visual Voice Mail, HTML Web browser, email, mobile support for Skype, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.2 MP cameras with autofocus and video recording, and a microSD card slot.
Verizon will sell the LG Octane for $ 99.99 with a 2 year contract (after a mail will receive a refund of $ 50).
The second Pantech phone is the Crux, which comes with a 3-inch touchscreen, virtual QWERTY keyboard, and direct access to social networking sites, HTML web browser, camera, and microSD card support (1 GB card pre -installed).
Pantech Crux has a cost of $ 49.99 on contract.

The Nook e-book Reader Now Comes with Color and Touch Screen
Barnes & Noble (B & N) has introduced the NOOKcolor, its new electronic book reader with full color touch screen so the user can enjoy viewing digital books, magazines, newspapers and books for children in bright colors.
The reader comes with a color touch screen IPS VividView 7 inch 1024 x 600 resolution, capable of displaying more than 16 million colors and a wide viewing angle.
The NOOKcolor comes with built-in Wi-Fi wireless connectivity that allows users to find books, magazines and newspapers online and check email and surf the web.
It has 8 GB of onboard memory which is enough for up to 6,000 e-books and also supports microSD / SDHC cards up to 32GB. This new reader is compatible with document formats EPUB, PDF, XLS, DOC, PPT, PPS, TXT, DOCM, XLSM, MEPP, PPSX, PPSM, DOCX, XLX, PPTX, as well as JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP. Novatech has released its new Intel-based multi-touch tablet that bears the name of Novatech nTablet. This equipment is offered with dual boot, Windows 7 and Google’s Android OS.

Philips Econovan, TV with Remote Control Organic Solar Powered
Philips recently launched a new Econovan Philips TV (42PFL6805); TV has been awarded the 2010-2011 European EV Green delivered by the European Imaging & Sound (EISA).
The Econovan Philips TV has a 42 inch display with LED backlighting, recycled aluminum panel, electronic manual, and a remote control that works with solar energy. It has also been made free of PVC and BRF, and the packaging does not contain polyethylene or plastic bags, making it 100 percent recyclable.
The TV comes with Remote Control powered by solar energy that uses 40 watts of power in eco mode, a power switch to reduce consumption to 0 watts when off, and the latest LED technology, which reduces energy consumption up 60 percent.
Econovan Philips offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (HD), four HDMI and USB ports.
