TI has a co-Processor 20 MP Camera
If you are bored of the poor quality of the photos you take with your cellphone, you might be glad to know that Texas Instruments introduced a new set of coprocessors that will integrate up to 20 MP cameras in our mobile equipment.
The models presented are family-DM5x OMAP, OMAP-DM515 being which allows imaging of up to 12 MP and OMAP-DM525, with which we can produce images up to 20 MP.
Both allow video recording with a resolution of 720p (HD), combining the latest technology to manage multimedia files on the mobile.
This remains for different mobile equipment manufacturers to incorporate this type of co-processors on their computers, of course they must first find a suitable lens for the size of the different mobile operating systems can handle such large image files.
