Samsung HMX-T10, New Camcorder Lens Tilted

September 3, 2010 · Posted in Camera-Video

New to the line of Samsung camcorders with the slightly tilted lens has appeared at IFA in Berlin. The reason given the 20 degree tilt to the lens of the Samsung HMX-T10, as shown in the pictures, is purely ergonomic, trying to make the recordings more comfortable.

As a rule be seeing virtually any camcorder of this type that hits the market, the new format video recording Samsung FullHD (1920 x 1080 60i), plus is capable of taking snapshots to 4.7 megapixels while recording video.

The camera features a touch screen 2.7-inch LCD (230,000 pixels) from which to govern the functionality of the device. The storage system chosen are extended SD / SDHC.

I have not had occasion to try them, but I have good references from first-hand, noting that the slope makes it more comfortable holding the camera that way (adopting a more natural position for the wrist), and if Samsung range will be renewed because the invention them is working.

Other details to note are the 5.1 megapixel sensor BSI (backlit), OIS optical stabilization, and 10X optical zoom. As Samsung has accustomed us to other models, the lens is signed by the German Schneider Kreuznach.

The Samsung HMX-T10 will be available in three colors, red, white and black, priced at 299 Euros.
